Prayer Ribbons

The following are ribbon colors that represent Scripture focus each month. The objective is to pray the Word over our children and also to memorize the Scripture. A different color ribbon can be given each month.

Royal Blue- For prosperity in the Kingdom of God.”And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Psalm 1:3

Yellow- For the restoration of the previous generations. Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border. Jeremiah 31:16-17

Red- For the salvation of our children. But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. Isaiah 49:25

Green- For our children to become laborers in the Kingdom of God.Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:38

Dark Blue- For our children to remember the laws and commandments of God. Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD… Numbers 15:38-39

White- For our children to remain pure and chaste. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:1
