In 2005, we are focusing on teaching God's character by
studying one name of God from the Old Testament per
month. We incorporate elements from that name in each
week's activities during the month and will review
previous month's focuses as well.
Also, in 2005, we are keeping track of every request and every
answered prayer. This is a year of miracles, signs and
wonders and we want our expectancy to grow with each
passing answer. |

Blessing Night (Com) |
Began the evening with a "Praise Break."
Praying love using Scripture under a canopy (sheet
tent) into the lives of people in our church. |
Added two more letters to our adoration alphabet (P,
Q). Used balance of time to send up adoration
prayers (A-Q).
Introduced the first "name of God." |
Kids joined adults for a "prayer drive"
in the church's neighborhood. Kids prayed at City
Hall, the mall parking lot, and a non-pente-costal
church. |
Focused this time on praying for others using the
Jehovah Jireh revelation. Beach ball globes were
used as children listened for direction in their
prayer from Jesus Himself. |
Community
Blessing Night. Prepare "I prayed for you..."
postcards for city churches and special blessing
card for the mayor of Bridgeton. Pray over each
card. |
