This takes an ordinary Mr.
or Ms. Potato Head toy.
Place all the pieces in a
bag or something the kids can reach into.
Have them one by one
pull out pieces. You can have them find a reason to pray
with the item they choose. (Ex: shoes pray that God
will protect our path, or lead into open doors, etc.)
Have them place their
piece into the potato anywhere, not necessarily where
it’s supposed to go.
After all the pieces
have been put in the potato will look silly.
Explanation: We are
all part of the body….there are teachers, preachers,
etc… and we can’t have a hand without a foot. (1
Corinthians Chapter 12)
We have to all do our
God given talent for us to be a body. Some will be hands
and some will be feet, but we all must do our part and
in the right capacity for it to work together smoothly. |
