In
February's archive, "Daughters of Zion," for the
first time the Kids Prayer Force members prayed
"light" into the lives of kids in their church.
This has become a theme each month and each
month, there is a different focus, using some of
the same tools or methods.
During April's Daughters of Zion prayer night, kids prayed light
and love, using a growing array of flashlights,
Scripture prayers written on red construction
paper hearts (prepared ahead of time), and then
looked up verses in a concordance to pray from
their hearts.
Is this making a difference in their local congregation, you may
ask? Well, I don't know if they can point to any
one particular event that is solely connected to
a specific night of prayer, but what can be said
is that on these Monday nights, their church is
praying in unity...and the kids are not being
left out.
They are seeing results TOGETHER with the adults and youth. Here
are a few things that have been happening as a
result of their consistent focused prayer: |
