Why should children take a virtual neighborhood prayer walk?
It will help them "pray nearer to pray clearer."
Download or print the file below and use it to
make large poster-sized (transparencies/poster
board) "sites" as prayer stations that can be
wall-mounted around a classroom. Then, instruct
the children to pray for needs at each station
as you lead them from one to the other. Allow
input from children, etc.
Following are ideas or starter questions for each "site." Below are
pictures taken during the 2002 Summons to
Sacrifice where these posters were initially
used. Click on each one to see an
enlargement.
*As an alternative, take pictures of actual places in your
neighborhood and use a powerpoint presentation
to take the children to each site. |
