In November 2007 Kids Prayer partnered up with MK Ministries to set missionary kids up with prayer partners in the States. There has been a great response to this partnership, with 49 prayer pal coordinators including a missionary that wanted her Sunday school children in South Africa to adopt a prayer pal.

It is very easy to be a prayer pal. You can have one prayer pal for a Sunday class, Children's church, a family or each child. Most people can keep in touch by email. The goal is not only to pray for the missionary kids but also to build a relationship. Below is a testimony of just that. The Marquez family had been back in the States for a short time and their prayer pals found out. Here is what happened.

Jessica Marquez received a phone call from their kids MK Prayer Pals in Lake Charles, LA. The Children’s Churches in Lake Charles (their prayer pals) and in Kinder LA (again their prayer pals) had been on a 21 day fast for the Marquez family. After finding out that they were there – they said that entire group would be at Chucky Cheeses on Saturday and asked Lexy and Antonia to come join them. So at 11:30 on Saturday 2 MKs had a blast with their prayer partners.  She was so appreciate of the prayer pal program- and will send pictures.
