In March, a missionary in Zimbabwe wrote about some exciting developments in a kids prayer effort in her country. This month we're featuring an update and some follow-up questions you can use if you share this story with your students. Everyone likes to know about answered prayers - it does so much to boost our faith. Keep up the great work, everyone!
Do you need to pause and read the March article before continuing? If not, skip right into the good news of this update!
The "little guy" from Zimbabwe, Africa, who by faith drew a picture of himself in a new uniform had his prayer answered in a unique way. A missionry in Ghana related the following story of this boy's answered prayer. A lady from Zimbabwe hit this kidsprayer.com website and called the missionary to see if the boy had his prayer answered. Upon finding out that he was still in need of tuition and a uniform, she told the missionary that the "check is in the mail." You can believe that missionary and the little boy were thrilled at God's provision. Note: The missionary to Ghana found this out because after hitting this site, he felt to do something if nobody else had.
The little girl with the speech problem has been healed. Following is an excerpt from a message by missionary serving in Zimbabwe.
"Remember the little girl that asked for God to heal her speech? Well, Sunday she was in the alter and as she was praying the Sunday School teacher motioned for me to come over. I walked to where she was and the teacher said "listen to her clear voice" as I leaned closer I could here her saying "Hallelujah". It was very clear! I have not heard from her this week so not sure how her speech is when not praying but I know God is going to continue to touch her!"
