Crossing Over
with Prayer
These pictures are from a kids prayer weekend that is held every
January in Missouri. This year the kids mixed prayer with
learning about the miracles and promises that God gave the
children of Israel. Check out the pictures below and see what
they learned.
Prayer stations started out
the time. Making a key chain to pray for the people in the 10/40 Window.
Writing prayer postcards for
missionaries.
Playing the prayer toss
game.
Hey wait it looks like they
worshipped. All these kids wanted to help lead worship and learned a
brand new song on the spot!
Worshipping God is so much
fun but look what else it does ------>
SILENCES THE DEVIL!!
Learning how to use clackers
and then making a conga line to sing and use the clackers for worship.
Have you learned the song
about the 12 spies that went to Canaan? Not many of us knew the song but
we did learn about Joshua leading the Israelites across the Jordan
River.
This is our memorial we will
do anything Jesus asks no matter how scary.
Learning about all the
different ways God talks to us.
Then we got quiet and just
waited for God to talk to us.
It was so cool, God told a
couple of the kids the same things and they were on opposite sides of
the room from each other.
Here are some of the things
God told/showed us. (Click on the picture for a larger version to read
the writing.)
Wait a minute these girls
are praying with M&M's!!!
Do you know what they are praying for?
Do you know the story of the
battle of Jericho? These kids got to act it out but instead of tearing
down the walls of a city they took down walls in their life.
Everyone got quiet and asked
God what wall was keeping them being closer to Him. When He answered we
wrote it paper and taped it to the walls of the city.
Then we got our
orders from the chief. We
are gonna walk around the city and when the trumpet blows we are gonna
see the walls fall down!
Worshipping God for tearing
down our walls.
Hey look new prayer tools!
At this prayer station everyone prayed for the world using a squish
globe.
A magnifying glass helps us
rememeber to look closer at what we are praying for.
Handcuffs to bind up bad
things so God can replace it with good things.
The toy soldier reminds us
to pray for all the soldiers in the world, grown up ones and also ones
that are children.
Did you know that
1,321,851,888 people live in China and they are not allowed to be
Christians? The fans will help us remember to pray for them.
