Night Kingdom Prayer Meeting
That's right they did it again!!!! Last year we had pictures
from the first all night prayer meeting any of these kids had
been a part of. One of the kids asked how the kids from the
other church were doing and that led to a discussion between the
leaders and another meeting. We spent eight hours praying and
worshipping for people all around the world who don't know Jesus
yet. Check out the pictures and see what happened.
Both churches pick four
songs to use during worship and taught them to each other. Man that was
so much fun and it helped keep us awake!
We made sure that the devil
couldn't talk before we started praying by worshipping for almost 45
minutes to start. Always remember Psalm 8:2.
Can you believe both groups
picked the same song? Each one had different motions but it was fun to
learn new motions.
Preparing for the spiritual
battle we were about to fight. We went through the 8 Steps for Group
Intercession to make sure our relationship with God and others was right
and to listen for God direction so that our prayers would be on target.
Even though we were learning
about some serious prayer needs we still had laughs!
This young lady was able to
go on a missions trip to Guatemala this year. She told the kids about
her trip and gave them some prayer needs for the country.
Praying for the children in
Europe.
Hey look it's J! God has
really been talking to J and has given him a burden for the country of
Uruguay. He worked really hard on his poster and sharing his burden.
These two girls want to be
missionaries in Africa and work with AIDS orphans.
They passed out pencils with
a red ribbon tied around them as a reminder to pray. (The orphans can't
afford school supplies and red ribbons are used to raise awareness about
AIDS.)
It was so cool to see
teenagers involved that night! He really wants to change the world by
helping people find out about child soldiers.
There were over thirty
people at the prayer meeting and only three fell asleep. Everyone but
the van driver slept on the way home!
These girls told us about
what is happening in Austriala and New Zealand.
She had only been home for
two weeks after spending the summer in Ghana. She shared her pictures
and her burden for this country.
The night ended with prayer
for China. There are over 1.3 billion people there who are not even
allowed to worship God. So we worshipped for them.
