PIA
Summit
What is a PIA
Summit? That's a great question. It is a Prayer In Action
Summit. This was done by the SALT Team in Louisiana during the
Kids Camp. The team members, who were mostly youth or college age
kids, taught kids about prayer during the morning sessions at
camp. It was so much fun and God did really awesome stuff!
During the breaks the kids
got to do lots of fun stuff like water fights and crazy hair
competitions.
During the morning SALT
members taught basic prayer principles in small groups.
Finding the groups again
after break. There were some really cool names.
Review time - I know the
answer please pick me!
These kids were really
silencing the enemy!
(Psalm 8:2)
There were over 840 kids at
camp this year! There is no way the devil would be able to say anything
by the time we all got done with worship.
We knew that in a group this
big the enemy was silent but would one kid be able to silence him by
their self?
Of course!!!! Look at how scared the devil was of that kid!
Does this look familiar?
Learning to pray for the people of the 10/40 Window with M&M's.
Praying for child soldiers
and THUMBO.
The kids also took time to
pray for the SALT leaders. It was so cool to see them praying for people
old than they were!
This boy lead in prayer that
the clown's knee would be healed and it was!
These kids prayed for a
fireman's back. He was healed along with 13 other people of back
problems.
This lady had a hip problem
and it hurt every time she walked. The kids prayed for her and she was
able to walk and move with no pain!
The coolest thing about this
week was that kids were praying everywhere. During service, after
service, in the dorms and even outside. 289 kids received the Holy
Spirit and many received it during one of these spontaneous prayer
meetings!
