Extreme Prayer Using M&M's and Newspaper
On March 3rd a
group of 50 kids, youth and grownups met together to learn some
new ways to pray for the world. Check out these cool new ideas!
Mikelle's group balanced the
M&M on their nose until they were done praying for the people group.
Once they finished praying they could eat the M&M but if it dropped
before they were finished they had to start over again.
Everyone liked this idea and
wanted to try it for themselves!
Here are a brother and
sister praying together for Tribal and Hindu people.
This group of boys did not
want to be out done so they tossed the M&M to their friend and their
friend had to catch it in their mouth. Then the two would join together
to pray for the people group.
This group separated all the
colors and then hide two under their hands. They moved the colors
around so their friend would not know which color was under which hand.
Then their friend picked a hand and that was the people group they
prayed for.
Then we went outside to pray
for the homeless. It was so cold that day we had snow flurries!
As you can see we did not
have our coats on. We learned that newspaper will not keep you warm and
it made us want to pray for the homeless more.
