Toys
As Prayer Tools
These kids are
learning new ways to pray using things that they play with.
Check out the pictures to see how they used a bean bag toss,
slinky, sticky hand, Magnetix, and a new spin on tops and prayer
spinners.
These are prayer "spinners". They were set up like a tic tac toe game
with one spot open. The open spot was filled after spending some time
listen to God to see what He wanted us to pray for and everyone's was
different!!!!!
Zach and Chelsea used BeyBlades and the square it stopped in is what
they prayed for.
These two used jacks instead of a top. They tossed the jack and prayed
for the square it landed on. If they got the "WILD" square they could
pray for anything or spend time worshipping God.
This group of kids was given a top and asked to come up with a way to
pray with it. They listened and felt that God wanted them to pray for
Africa. They prayed for whatever need the top stopped on.
The sticky hand was a lot of
fun. These two boys used it along with a big globe to find countries to
pray for.
The slinky was used a couple of different ways.
If the kids prayed with and stretched it out they prayed for faith to
grow. If they were closing the slinky back together they were praying
for sin to go away.
Magnetix are so much fun! The group Cynthia was in used this tool to
build mountains and then prayed that the mountains would be removed.
Just like Jesus told us we could!
These kids used a bean bag game to pray. Their Sunday school teacher put
different prayer request in pockets on the blue tarp. Then the kids
tossed the bean bag and prayed for whatever it landed on.
