During the
Friday night service of the 7 Essentials Seminar kids were given the
chance to minister during worship and a focused prayer/ministry time.
Here are some pictures of what happened along with what the kids
involved thought.
The youth band Pure Worship.
I thought that the Friday
night service was very powerful! I really enjoyed the song in GLOW
that we did. (Chelsea)
Getting quite and preparing
to minister!
I really liked it when the
other kids told everyone (in the microphone) what the Lord was telling
them…they weren’t keeping it to themselves. (Laurel)
The event was like a
stepping-stone for the “World Changers” so that He will use children to
minister in a mighty way. Also I felt the power of God throughout the
service. I felt a liberty to minister to those present at this event,
and I heard God speaking to me during the service many times…it was hard
to breathe when He spoke to me! (Corrine)
I really thought that the
adults could finally experience the power that children have. And also,
the children weren't embarrassed or anything like that. They listened to
what God told them, and they did it. I felt His power there. It was so
amazing! (Larissa)
I liked being able to be
with all the kids and pray as a group. (Megan) It was really
cool that we were allowed to minister unto the adults and to help them
with their needs. (Tori)
I liked how we were able to
minister to the adults and how the adults let us minister unto them and
how they respected us enough to trust us with their request. (Jared)
It was cool to be in a
service and be able to pray with a bunch of young people and feel the
presence of God. (Sarah)
It built my faith.
I’ve only experienced church when older teens or adults were allowed to
minister but in this case we were able to minister to everyone as the
Lord led us. (Nathan)
I really enjoyed the
“drumming part” cause I felt the walls were actually coming down!
(Cody)
I thought it was really cool to express my inner being by being able to
worship Him using the drums. During the drumming God spoke to me saying
that “walls were falling down. (Corrine)
* During a listening time
earlier in the day God showed one of the adults this picture. Kids
pushing down the walls!
I was impacted by the
Grandparents and their prayer for us. (Hannah)
I was moved greatly when the Grandparents knelt before us and repented.
(Jared)
I was impacted greatly when the Grandparents came before us and
apologized. They didn’t have to do that. (Nathan)
