"Going-Going-Going"
MARCH
2006 |
Kids prayer is getting
some special attention this month on the East Coast
and in Central
America. It's so exciting. Isn't God "Fun?" Sometimes we feel
like we're doing things alone, but it is good to know that we are
part of something
really big and important to God. Thank you Jesus for bringing us all
together! |

EAST COAST
(Virginia) |
 |
On the last day of the East Coast Women's Conference (ECWC), I got to
talk to over 1,000 women about how important it is to let you kids pray
and be a part of ministry in your homes and local churches. It was way
cool because when I was done, they all prayed for your generation and
spoke blessings over you! |
|
I was
pleasantly surprised to meet Jordan (pictured above with his mom) at the
ECWC. For some reason, he heard me talk to the ladies about kids prayer,
and was excited to find out that kids all over the world are praying. He
had started a kids prayer group in his local church and was in need of
some encouragement. Please pray for him as he works to get more kids
praying in his local church. You go, Jordan! |
|
|
Beth, one of
the leaders on the platform at ECWC noticed that many Sunday school
teachers from her church were praying together for you guys after
learning more about kids prayer. On Sunday morning, the very next day,
this is what happened. "One teacher took your
session to heart and on Sunday morning decided she was going to
do her class totally different. She took down the tables. Put on
praise music. Began to take prayer requests and the end result
was she had 3 kids receive the Holy Ghost [with speaking in
tongues] in her class yesterday
morning." [She teaches first graders.] |

CENTRAL AMERICA
(Nicaragua) |
I'm back and
the update is in progress! Of course, there are lots of "fotos." Check
back soon! Oh - I won't make you wait for this...13 people were healed
after they learned to pray for healing using the L. A. B. B. method. Oh
- and one kid was filled with the Holy Spirit...at a Children's
Ministries Training Seminar for adults. |

Missionary Lynne Jewett is the leader of the CCMpact Children's
Ministries. This was their second seminar. |
The
group from Guatemala packs up to make the trip
to Nicaragua by bus. Their buses broke down alot! |
These
kids are going to be reached with the power of the gospel. |
Six
countries sent teachers and ministers to the seminar. We had a
blast! |

These clowns were grrrrrrrrreat! These guys are so funny! And here
they are without their clown makeup...but they couldn't resist
putting the sticks of dynamite on their heads and wearing them like
hats. :) |

Teaching these kids the "Crazy Song" - as they did, they got to put
tape on our "enemy of God" and so did almost 100 people from the
audience. This is what happens when children praise/worship God! It
was the first lesson I taught and the spirit of God was so strong -
I believe Jesus was pleased with their response (Psalm 8:2). |

|
I gave "American Candy" to the kids who helped
teach the adults the Crazy Song...they ended up
sharing all of their treats with others. |
I had
to speak through an interpreter - Thanks, Sofia, for being so
wonderful! |
This
baby doll helped me teach an important lesson about our Spirit. |

On the first day, at the end of the seminars, I taught them about
teaching kids to pray for healing, using the L.A.B.B. method. This
little girl volunteered to pray for this visiting missionary who has
been suffering great pain since late this past Summer. Guess what
happened? She and twelve others were healed in Jesus' name. What a
wonderful testimony to know God hears us when we pray in His name. |
This
is one of the twelve
who were healed in the L.A.B.B. session. She had been in pain for
thirteen years...but slept like a baby for the first time in
years after her healing. |

Something happened as we prayed together four different times for
each other, and the children in the six countries of Central America.
Nearly 425 people caught the vision for kids ministry and prayer. It
was electrifying!
This preacher (top right) stayed for the entire seminar the first
day and was touched by what he saw from the other teachers and
learned from the sessions I taught. He was a blessing to us all. |
|

 |
|
These
teachers and ministers came to rededicate their lives to Jesus and
to focus on children. |
This teacher, the dad of
these two boys, prayed with them until his oldest son got filled
with the Holy Spirit. |
Teachers get trained to
say simple prayers for the
world. Kids from six more countries are praying
for the 10/40 Window now.
Amen! = Hi-Yah! Ya-mon! Yes! Si! |
|

|
I used a hand saw and a power saw to demonstrate the difference in
praying with human understanding (hand saw) and praying in code
(when we use our prayer language-electric saw). It was so fun - I
loved being at this seminar. And the adults were wonderful. |
At the
end of the seminar I played a recording of four kids who had prayed
for us back home. The interpreter repeated what they said and it was
such a blessing! Thanks Shekinah Kids - you guys ROCK! |
This
teacher is praying a prayer of thanksgiving for
the keys to ministry and revival in her place of ministry. She is
going to share them with her kids and revival will spread. |

 |
 |
On the way to the seminar people from Guatemala and El Salvador
arrived very late. Their buses kept breaking down.
When it was time to leave we all prayed that the busses wouldn't
break down and that they would take the joy from the seminar back
with them. The result?
None of the busses broke down and they sang, prayed and talked
about God's goodness all the way back home. |
|
This
sweet lady sold me spoons made from gourds
in the market. She
blessed me with such a sweet spirit and kind words. |
Three
times a day these women prepared food for and fed all the people who
came to the seminar...they fed about 425 people at each meal.
|

| |
|
| While I
was in Nicaragua, the Saturday Night "Kids Prayer Force" group
prayed and waited to hear from Jesus...these are some of the things
they felt Him say followed by my comments to the accuracy of what
they heard. They were right on the money. |
|
|
Brooke
(5 years old) - saw me teaching children |
I did
teach children at the training seminar, but hadn't planned to. |
|
Jared
(10 years old) - felt to pray that I would be safe and immune to any
disease. |
I did
not get sick from the food, ice, or water. |
|
Chelsea
(10 years old) - felt I should tell adults and
kids that kids back home have prayed for them and
that they "got held in God's power." |
I played
the tape of the Shekinah Kids group praying for all of us at the
seminar. Their four prayers were answered in detail, including one
for miracles. |
|
Zach (8
years old) - saw a picture of nine kids that
heard what I was teaching and that they would be protected from the
enemy. |
Exactly
nine kids put tape on the devil's mouth and were used to
teach adults the new "Crazy Song." |
|
Brandon (5 years old) -
said we should not be afraid. |
My two interpreters and
I had discussed how we hadn't felt nervous one bit during the entire
seminar... which is very unusual for all three of us. We all felt
very relaxed and safe. |
