This month's focus:
Intercession |

There are millions of
kids like you who have never heard the story of Jesus. Could you
take the month of May and pray for them? If you do, you will be
praying a special kind of prayer called "intercession."
God knows all about the needs of the children in the world, but it
pleases Him when you care enough to pray for others who need Him.
What can help make your intercession effective and powerful?
Pray specifically, pray sincerely meaning what we are
praying for, praying often for it, and pray in the Spirit.
Try this...For the next four weeks, spend time interceding for
kids in the world who are like you but don't know Jesus yet. For
example, if you pray before going to bed and you don't have shoes
on, intercede for kids in the world who don't have shoes on their
feet (for whatever reason). If you wear glasses, intercede for the
kids in the world who need them but cannot afford them. |

Jesus, you told us in your Word that the weapons we
fight with are not from this world. Thank you for
showing me that my praise is a powerful weapon to
silence the enemy. 2nd Corinthians 10:4, Psalms 8:2

Jesus you
are Jehovah Shammah (The Lord is There). I pray for all
the missionary kids that they will know that in every
situation you are there right in the middle to help
them. I pray against discouragement and homesickness.
Let them develop an extreme love for You!

I know that that I am not alone because You are always
with me. I pray that you will help others to realize
that You are there with them also so that they will not
be lonely. John 8:16

Jesus,
there are so many kids in the world that are just like
me except they are orphans. I pray that You will help
those kids come into contact with people who know You
and will show Your love to them.
